An exceptional pantry box, American and from the latter part of the 18th. century. This pantry box has such wonderful characteristics, great size, round measuring 12 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches, a buttery smooth surface from years of handling, original dark green painted surface, opposing fingers, thick lid and rosehead nailed construction. The condition is just excellent and you would look long and hard for a better example. Excellent provenance.
