Just a wonderful example of a late 18th/early 19th century divided pantry box. This pantry box is in its original, well patinated surface and constructed with Rose Head nails. Inside the box are four divisions for dry product or spices. The box is early as evidenced by the heavy thick lid. The surface is original and shows wonderful oxidation from years of use. The pantry box measures 11 1/4 inches in diameter and stands about 3 1/4 inches tall. Very good condition, American divided pantry box.
