I love early memorial tokens, whether it be art, hair, jewelry. They are such touching momentos of lost love, past history, legacies of tenderness and love. This one depicts symbols of a sailors life, a nautical remembrance of a parting of ways, and lost love. It is delicate watercolor that has been remounted. The watercolor is dated 1843 right under the picture. This watercolor is housed in a new frame but it is very tasteful. The watercolor itself measures 3 5/8 x 3 3/4 inches. The overall size is 9 1/2 x 10 inches. This is a special piece, guaranteed to please. This piece is in excellent condition, anything you might see in the photos is glare from the glass.This lovely dough bowl is nice size for just about any placement. The bowl measures 12 1/2″ one way and 13 1/4″ another way (nice warp) and stands 3 1/2″ tall. It has a nice cut rim. The paint is a cream to white color. Most likely it was originally a lighter color and I believe the cream color shows the age of the paint. It has discolored thru the years. The surface is wonderful, original and authentic. Excellent condition
