A wonderful example of an early 19th. century, American wall Box. Nice smaller size to fit just about anywhere. The construction is of dovetailed workmanship. Pine wood, original dry, Red paint. Nicely formed back board. Most likely used as a candle box. The wall box measures 12 x 4 3/4 x 5 3/4. Excellent condition. Previous provenance is excellent.
