This floor light gets more beautiful as you look at it because of its simplicity. Made of American Pine wood. The floor light is stately in size and has a simply designed X base. A single, short bar holds a single candle cup. The cross bar adjusts up and down by a very simple mechanism. There is a wooden pin that you insert to hold the bar in place at any point on the shaft. The wood has mellowed into a lovely darkened Pine. The floor light measures 42 inches tall, the X base measures 13 1/2 inches and the crossbar measures 9 inches. American Pine floor light from the mid 19th. century.
