This is a fabulous wall box in a Primitive form. Larger size wall box with the best form. the wall box has a wonderful steeple shaped backboard. The surface is entirely original. Please notice the rough sawed back. This wonderful wall box is constructed with the best, large rosehead nails. The box has a nice deep well for great storage and cotter pin hinges. All of the features you would want to find in an 18th. century American wall box. The box measures 15 1/4 x 12 3/4 x 8 1/2 inches.
