26-079. An early hand-wrought iron, double candle hanging light. Composed of a yoke shaped double candle fixture held in the center by an upright iron rod with a hanging loop at the top. Each arm ends in a sheet iron candle socket mounted in a sheet iron drip cup. The light measures approximately 12 inches wide x 27 ½ high. It is in very good as-found condition without damage or repairs and was found in Massecuites. It dates to the early-19th century.
