This is just a wonderful wall box, large in size, the best painted surface that is a dark Blue or Black over Red. The well on the box is curved out, and deep. It would, and may have been used for onions or larger vegetables keeping them up off the ground. The backboard is beautifully curved. The box has great presence. Circa mid 1900’s, American wall box. Great look and one of a kind. Constructed with square nails. The wall box measures 26 x 14 x 5 3/4 inches.
