This is a fabulous 18th. century double light table light. Darkened original surface. The spiral shaft holds a cross bar that measures 10 inches and holds two candle. The wear on the cross bar is so beautifully worn and adds so much character to the light. Years and years of use produced this type of wear, so authentic. The light measures 15 inches tall and the diameter of the base measure 7 inches. American table top double light candle light. American lighting, most likely New England. Such a wonderful example of early American lighting. Excellent provenance.
