Complete 2 volume Imperial set of The Works of William Shakespeare with notes from Charles Knight in full leather bindings with gold trim. Large 11" x 15" format. Includes over 50 full page steel engravings of scenes and characters of the day by noted artists and engravers. These engravings could be removed to be matted and framed for a treasure trove of 19th C. art. Condition: Both volumes are structurally sound and complete.
