Here is a great early portrait of a young boy, young lad. The painting quality is superb, colors are great and the condition is excellent for this old oil. Please note in the upper right hand corner the little smutz area. I believe that is an old repair. This painting may be relined, just not sure. It definitely has good age to it, perhaps early 1900’s or maybe even late 1800’s with the clothing the man is wearing. Great character. The overall size of the painting with frame is about 20 x 23 1/2 inches. just the painting alone measures 17 3./4 x 21 inches. Great decorative and artistic quality in this painting.
