A fabulous American Historic Blue and White Staffordshire platter. Measures 19 x 15 inches. Rich deep blue. Made by Wood, that is impressed on the back. There is a blue transfer mark on the back that reads Southwest view of LaGrange The Residence of the MARQUIS LAFAYETTE. Please note the repaired cracks on the back as well as the chunck missing on the crack on the left of the back of the platter. There are very, very hard to detect on the front of the platter. This is an extraordinary piece in a great size.
