A wonderful wall box with great form, construction, age and paint. The wall box is circa 1840-1860. The paint is a Grey/Brown and original to the box. The wall box is constructed with square nails. The back board on the wall box has a wooden strap which holds spoon, forks, knives. This box is American and in excellent condition. The box measures 16 1/8 x 11 1/2 x 5 3/4 inches. Very good condition but please note the small piece of wood missing from the side of the box.
