A great piece of early American lighting. A wonderful table light with its original Dark Brown Painted Surface. The light has a turn screw that allows the candle bar to be raised or lowered. The candle bar has two fluted candle cups that sit into cut out openings on the candle bar. Both of the candle cups fit well but it looks like on cup is a little different than the other. The table light has a great, stable base. The light measures 17 inches tall with a candle bar that measures 12 x 4 1/4 inches. The base measures 9 1/2 x 2 x 1. This is a great American table light. Circa 1840-1860’s.
