One of my favorite forms....this is a very nice table top Butter Churn. Original surface, wrapped bands around the staved churn. The bands are attached with square and smaller Iron looking nails. The churn is complete with lid and dasher. American churn, circa 1840 or so. The churn measures 14 inches to the top of the churn (not the top of the dasher) and about 9 inches diameter at the bottom. Overall condition is excellent.
