Jen and I have lived in the Central New York region for the greater part of our lives, an area that has a rich antiques history. We have been selling our wares at various CNY events and are currently selling out of a wonderful antique shop in Bouckville, NY, "The Depot". Very rare “ What’s It” tin wind-up lithograph toy.Ferdinand Strauss corp,New York,USA. This company was in business for only 13 years from 1914 to 1927. Overall condition is very good and in working order. Measures 9 1/2” l x 5”h ( top of head to wheel base ) x 4”w ( wheel to wheel).

Vintage painted metal balancing toy of a soldier in a red jacket holding a rifle. This piece is in very nice condition for its age with great patina. Measures 20”h x 4” base.
Very unique 19th century traveling inkwell with a push button for the lid to open. It consists with the original ink bottle and copper finish with a green painted body. Great piece to add to your inkwell collection. Measures 1 3/4”h x 2” across.

Ca. Mid 19th century eastern woodland Native American splint basket with a vegetable stamped decoration and single wrapped rim. Origin New York State. Condition overall good for this early piece. Colors are also still very vibrant. Measures11 1/2”d x 5 1/4”h x 7” base.

Wonderful small hand carved chest constructed with a lift top and bottom drawer. The lift top portion having a capitol tobacco box cover used for the inside of lid. Truly a one of a kind piece of folk art. Most likely constructed in the first half of the 20th century. Measures 7”h x 7 1/4” w.

Rare vintage laflin & Rand gunpowder tip by Hercules Powder Co. The tin retains it’s original paper label and is empty of the powder. Condition is exceptional and complete even retaining it’s screw cap. Measures 6”h x 4”w.
Antique cast iron signed Hubley kitty cat fireside hearth doorstop. Wonderful detail and original paint. Measures 11”l x 6” h.
Miniature oval pantry box. Lid and body pressed together,no nailing. A very unique box with a natural patina. Measures 1 3/4”h x 4” across.
Great large size splint gathering basket with a double wrapped rim and notched carved handle. Very nice condition. Measures 15”d x 16” h ( top of handle to bottom).
Vintage honey dipper ( shaker? ), used to collect honey from a container.The dipper’s crevices keep the honey trapped. When a person was ready to drizzle some in their tea or flatbread they would tilt the dipper vertically and watch the honey drop in a perfect stream. Measures 10”h x 3”w.
Neat early iron buggy step with a hammered star design. Great decorative piece. The step itself measures 4 1/2” round.

Early 20th century white label 5 cent cigar embossed tin advertising sign with it’s original chain. This sign is in excellent condition. Measures 10”h x 13 3/4”w.
Universal auto carbide miners lamp with original box. Ca. 1900 - 1920. Great historical piece of mining history. Measures 4”h x 3”w.The box measures 4 1/2” x 4w.
Extremely rare Mayo’s cut plug tobacco mammy tin. Dates to ca.1912. Mayo called this packaging a “ brownie” tin…apparently the company suggested that the tins be used as a brownie container after the one pound of tobacco was used up. They were never a plentiful tin,and today are becoming increasingly more and more difficult to find. This particular example is in amazing condition! Measures 7”tall x 7” wide.

Vintage Sailor Boy one gallon oyster tin ( empty ). Packed by F. F. East in Maurice River, N.J. This is the older version of this can from New Jersey. Later versions were packed for R. F. Brown in Lansing Michigan.The can has it’s top with it.Great looking early navy sailor graphics. Probably WWII era uniform on the sailor. This can displays nicely in a wide variety of settings. Measures 7 1/4”h x 6 3/4”d.

A wonderful German birth and baptismal fraktur by G. A . Peter’s , Harrisburg PA. (Slight staining and small tear are present. Measures 17 3/4” x 14 3/4”w.
Rare early ( 1845 - 1858 ) rockingham- glazed yellow ware cider pitcher. It is decorated with a hunting scene showing three hounds chasing a buck in a forest setting on one side and two mounted horsemen on the other side. The handle is in the form of a branch. There is a floral motif surrounding the rim at the top. The top of this pitcher is most unusual! The spout and base have had repairs made of the highest quality. Measures 9”h x 5 1/2” across top x 6” base.

Rare roll (12) of Stickley labels ca. 1916 - 1919. Gustav Stickley joins L.& J. G. Stickley to form Stickley associated cabinetmakers. They symbolized the merger by joining the craftsman’s joiners compass with the L.& J.G handscrews.
