Attributed to the Zoar Community in Ohio these thickly knit wool stockings measure 21” long from top edge to tip of the toe. Multi color open top knitted detail and scalloped edge trimmed in red. A few small holes and mends
These Zoar community mittens measure 10-1/2” long knitted in blue and red with black cuff, one small hole
Round rye basket 13”across x 4” deep 4” section missing along rim long and minor wear of wrap, nice large size.
Man’s single Hessian leather shoe/boot measures 13” long 5-3/4” high. Thick wood sole and leather (stiff) upper, surface and wear, with great tacks used in construction
Ladies blue and white checked bonnet 14” tall x 10-1/2 wide brim is machine quilted in tight rows, large bows on each side 2 small holes and an interesting (laundry, makers ?) cotton tag attached at the back edge
Sold separately, 3 spun flax braids 11” long, with lots of loose ends, would look great in a basket

Fabulous early flax hetchel with tin diamond detail around each hanging hole, punched design along the sides and early rosehead and square nail construction. It measures 14” l x 3-1/2” w and is 4” t It has 2 missing square nails, one of the tin diamond has damage as well as the usual wear that a utilitarian object would have
