This is a period lighting candle of animal fat in untuched condition and retains its full length hand twisted cotton wick. Hand dipped and shows quality mottling of color in light yellows and light oranges Good condition with the top showing an old but stable seperation which is consistent with these old fragile candles. 8"L.
This is a nice silhouette of a sheet iron pointer. Produced from 1/" thick steel plate and cut to form its shape. Both sides retain beautiful oyster white paint with oxidation. Survives in excellent condition on both sides and displays very nicely. Ca. 1960. 18"L
This is a fantastic little 19th c. slide lid candle box in origonal red paint. Made from pine wood and has dovetailed corners. The bottom is professionally chamfered and attsched with four iron square nails. Retains phenomenal red paint with historic paint and surface elements. New England. Ca. 1810. 10"L.
A hanging salt box or storage box is quite interesting....made of pine wood and feafures elaborate cutouts on its backboard and lid and has applied ornamentation involving Christmass tree like decoration with hand carved leaves and a red ball. Retains original brass hinges. Extremely well made and retains nice patina. Excellent condition with a small drip of old paint. Ca. 1910. 9 1/4"T x 5"W
This 19th c. spice box is in original red paint and contains a very nice backboard terminating in a lollipop cutout. One drawer is situated with dividers for spices and the other drawer is empty. Both retain their original knobs. Constructed from pine wood with early square nails. Has fabulous red paint. Overall very good condition with a few very old minor losses to the drawer lips. Here is a fantastic old femce post finial of a dogs head in original paints. Carved of pine wood with painted features. Very good weathered condition and paint surface. Scarce to find. Ca. 1930. 3 1/2"T
A small leather mirror made from leather pieces configured and stitched together using string baseball style stitching. Contains a nice thick piece of glass which is original alongside its original iron hanger. Contains excellent surface qualities. Northeast origin. Ca. 1880. 5"T
This early 19th c. signal cannon is constructed from a single unit of mold poured iron with a hollow center and a small touch hole for lighting. These were used to signal on ships from during passage and also land use. Excellent condition with a nice 200 + year old acquired surface. Northeast origin. 5 1/4"T
This is a very nice mortar and pestle in an uncommon mushroom colored paint over a grey primer. Made of lathe turned maple wood with its MATCHING pestle. Good condition with one tight old fissure to the mortar. Retains great paint surface with quality color. Ca. 1830. 12"T as shown.
Here is a neat pair of 19th c. faux wooden books in original windsor green paint with red highlights. Carved from the solid by hand and features carved channels for pages. Both retain great old paint with some wear. Possibly used as bookends. 7 1/2"T. 5 1/2"D x 2"W.
Here is an early 20th c or late 19th c. arrow weathervane in the best diminutive size. Iron post with a great wooden ball and iron and zinc arrow. The ball contains remnants of its original blue paint. Has a fantastic FANTASTIC surface from years of weathering. 19"T.
This Patriotic wood plaque is worked on pine wood with original paints. A note on the reverse states it was done by a woman named Essie Weber in memory of her dog Lucky. Likely accomplished in the post WW2 years ca. 1945-1955. Excellent condition. 13"T x 8"W.
This is a really good oil on pressboard painting featuring a grouping of three pheasants meandering in tall grass. Remains in vibrant original condition with excellent surfsce craquelure from age. Mounted in its original Eastlake period frame in original mustard colored paint. Signed on the lower right "Bert Lawson". No restoration or repair, inspected under UV light. Wonderful side profile view of a man cookie cutter. This cookie cutter would be the man looking at the lady cutter listed. This cutter would also be from the early 20thC. It is not common to find these side profile cookie cutters
Unusual side profile of a lady cookie cutter. From the appearance of her hair style it's most likely dates to the early 20th century. It measures 3 3/4 inches tall. I also have listed the side profile of the man that would be looking at the lady. Each are priced separately.
This is a fabulous 19th c. canteen in original red paint. Staved and banded with iron hoops and retains such good paint with craving from age. Survives in superb condition with quality color. 8 1/2"W x 6 1/2"T.
This daring egg is made of pine and has multiple colors of paint...blue, brown and mustard. Lathe turned and is in excellent condition for its age and use. Ca. 1900. 3"T.
This little set of spice drawers is really nice....made of pine with a shaped top and porcelain knobs which are original. Has a fabulous varnish finish on pine wood with iron nails. The best size as well at 11 3/4"T. New England origin.
Here's a nice little wooden powder flask in old varnished finish. Made of pine in two pieces and glued together and reinforced with old black string on the neck. Good condition with very minor wear on the body and neck. These old powder flasks made this way are scarcely found. New England. Ca. 1830. 4 1/8"T.

Here is a wonderful 19th c bail handled pantry box in original sage colored paint. Made of pine with early iron nails joining the lap joints. A wire bail handle with a lathe turned maple wood hand grip is attached on the sides with iron brackets. Excellent original condition and has great paint history! New England. Ca. 1850. Here is a really neat piece...a 19th c. wooden weathervane in the shape of a turtle head. Made of oak wood and retains remnants of original red paint on the underside. Heavily weathered (as expected) but in good condition with phenomenal historical qualities. Likely had glass marbles for eyes which are LONG gone. Mounted on a flat black base for display. 17"L.
A 1920s or 1930s grai painted pressboard template for making owl decoys. Retains teally.great original taupe colored paint with black graining. The reverse is lined with foil. Overall good condition with some wear being as expected for age and use. 13 1/2"T.
Here is a wonderfully preserved late 19th c. basket in oiriginal unpainted surface. Intricately made of woven ash with the handle ornamented with additional ribs and weavers. Excellent condition with no visible breaks which is a scarce feature for these types of baskets. Southern Appalachian area. Ca. 1890. 12"W x 10'T.
This is an early 19th c. pantty box in original unfinished surface. Constructed of ash and pine wood with early copper hand forged tacks reinforcing the wonderful fingers on the lap joints. Survives in very good original condition with two neat mouse chews and a tiny loss on the bottom of the body in front. New England. Ca. 1820. 10 7/8"W.

An early herb box in original unfinished surface. Constructed of ash wood bands and body with an eastern white pine lid and bottom. Retains a desirable as-descended surface, rich in oxidized color. Northeast origin. Ca. 1830. 14 3/4"W
A neat whirligig westhervane made from pine wood. The pointed end and fletching end are made from tin and retain its original oyster white decoratjon with blue painted star. Articulated arms move with the wind and are intact. Extremely well worn and faded from UV exposure, the surface elements present are nothing short of fantastic and show visual history of being used outside. Comes with a professionally made metal base. Ohio origin. Ca. 1920-1930. 27 1/2"W x 25"T.
This is a really really neat 19th c. skeleton key with a personalized leather key fob attached with its original rope. The leather is dried but slightly supple and ornamented with an "F". Scarcely found like this with the original rope attachment. The key is 4 3/4"L for scale of reference.
Here is a really neat No Parking sign made of a plank of pine wood with sawtooth ends. The background is a nice off white color. Script is in black. Has superb paint surface qualities with crazing and craquelure from age. Excellent condition goven age and exposure to elements with a fissure visible on the bottom and present when the sign was made. 19"L.
This is an absolutely fabulous painting depicting three kittens in an orchestrated mess playing with a ball of yarn and basket. Oil on canvas and housed in its original frame. The frame was refreshed sometime in the last half of the 20th c but the canvas remains intact and without restoration. NY origin. Ca. 1900. 17" x 13 1/4".
Here isna grest grouping of four (4) wooden signsnin oyster white with black stenciled font stating "DIG NO CLAMS IN THE GRASS". Each retains original paint with post holes. All are in excellent condition given age and placement next to salt water. Ca. 1950. Cape Cod, MA origin. 18"L

This is a really nice sign diaplaying black text of "PARKING LOT" in bold font on an oyster white painted ground. A simple balck border accents the face. Superb condition for its age with light crazing to its painted surface. Ca.1930. 25 1/2"L

Wonderful 18thC Queen Ann wall box. The backboard is made of thick stock maple and the front and sides are made of pine. Old glued crack to front which does not distract. It is 7 3/4" W x 9 1/2"H x 3"D with great rosehead nails and retains an original brown stain.
A nice 20th c. tinned iron cookie cutter in the shape of a standing bear. The back is lined with a sheet of tin wirh two finger holes. Excellent original condition. Scarce form. 8"T.
Here is a nice 1920s or 1930s decoy fragment from a rig. Made from a single plank of pine wood with a hand carved body. The head is applied via toenailing iron nails into the body. Retains really great old black paint with a white swab on either side. Great for hanging above a doorway! 17"L

Great architectural fragment from the last quarter of the 19thC. It is in old oyster white paint that has a great surface with a star cutout. It measures 9" square and can easily be hung as a piece of artwork.
