Believed to be late 1800s made by the Kestner doll company. This 22 inch porcelain head doll with a composition body has stationary deep blue eyes and an open mouth with 4 porcelain teeth. She has dark brown hair and is wearing her original clothes and shoes. There are a few areas with some crackling on the body. One area on the back of the neck has been repaired. The markings on the back of the neck are hard to make out. inscribed there is j n ll...also written is either Shinffer or Sharffer. If the country of origin had been inscribed then one could place the date of the doll later. I have more pics if you would like to see them.
