The colors are still quite vivid on this early tray measuring 18" L by 12" W. The gold has faded around the edges and the black tin has lost its luster but the design is lovely with the cream background and the green and bitterweet hand painted flourishes. The earliest Tin trays were made in two parts and seamed in the center.
