**Antique 1838 Fraktur Bookplate w/Bird, Tulips

For sale is a wonderful antique dated 1838 watercolor fraktur bookplate with what I think is German writing, and a red and blue bird flanked by red and blue tulips at the bottom. I think that it is most likely from Pennsylvania, and has been placed on acid free backing, and housed in an antique frame. The framed piece measures about 9 5/8" x 7" with sight measurements of 7 5/8" x 5". The fraktur itself measures about 6 1/4" x 3 1/2", and is in antique but nice displayable condition, with minor toning and stains, as well as areas of damage around the edges. The frame is in good condition, and a new paper backing has been added. Please look carefully at the pictures, and contact me with any questions.
