Decorated Tole Creamer & Sugar Bowl

This pair (not a matched set, but close-enough) of decorated toleware creamer and sugar bowl exhibits good paint and only moderate wear. The creamer (4 ¼” high to the top of the finial, 4 ½” handle to spout and 3” diameter at the base) has a large, oval ball in red/pink under the spout and the sides have a small red circle and yellow leave (paint ware to some of the leaves); there is yellow leaf decoration on the lid. The sugar bowl is 4 ¼” in diameter at the top, 3 3/8” diameter at the base and about 3 ¼” tall (top of the finial).There is a bold, yellow and red band of decoration around the top, and a yellow and red pinwheel decoration on the lid. Both pieces are in fine to very fine condition, without dents or splits. The paint has the expected wear from age and use, but the decoration and the color remain visible. Not recommended for use, but they make great shelf decorations.
