For sale is a fabulous antique 19th century primitive folk art 2 piece butter mold with a wonderful carved Pennsylvania style tulip, so I'm confident that it was made in that area. It is made of walnut, the box is hand dovetailed, and the entire piece has a wonderful old dry surface. The box measures about 7 1/2" long, 5" wide, and 2 3/4" tall, while the print itself is about 4" square and 1/2" thick. The image of the tulip alone is about 3" tall and 2 1/8" wide. The piece is in very nice antique condition, with a warm patina, but no chips, cracks, etc. Please look carefully at the pictures, and contact me with any questions, or for additional photos.
