19th C. Primitive Folk Art Wash Stick w/Stars

For sale is a 19th century primitive hand carved folk art wash stick with a stars design. I acquired it from a sale in Connecticut, but I don't know where it was made. It has a "U" shaped carved handle, and notch carving on the sides. In addition, it comes with a metal display stand. It measures about 29 1/2" long, 3 1/4" wide, and 1" thick, and is in nice antique condition, with signs of age and use, but no significant flaws.
