For sale is a wonderful antique 19th century primitive folk art double sided gameboard that I acquired from a sale in Connecticut. One side depicts a mill game in mustard yellow with a very dark red and black faux painted background. The checkers side is done in red, mustard, and black with black stenciling on the ends. In addition, the ends of the board are round with finials on the corners. The piece measures about 25 1/2" long, 15" wide, and 1" side to side from the finials, and is in very nice antique condition, with great signs of age including wonderful paint craquelure. It should be noted that one of the finials is a new replacement, but you'd be pretty hard pressed to determine which one.
