2 Shell Edge (Leeds) 8” Plates Floral Centers

2 early 19th century Shell Edge Plates, most probably by Leeds with floral centers, one with a green edge, the other with a blue edge. The blue edge plate (8 ¼” diameter) is slightly larger (by less than ¼”) and the green edge plate has a multi-color floral center. Both centers have been hand-painted. And both are in very fine condition, with no cracks, chips or restorations. There is some minor kiln marks on the edge of the green plate, most likely “Kiln Schmutz.” Nice examples of a popular genre of Leeds pottery. Contact me if you would like additional photos.
