**19th C. Framed Folk Art Woven Hair Memorial

For sale is a charming antique Victorian folk art framed woven hair memorial that I acquired from a sale in Connecticut last year. On the back, there is information indicating that a previous owner acquired it from Sandwich Antique Center in Sandwich, Massachusetts in 2015. It appears that 3 different colors of hair were used to form a sort of very stylized bow shape, and in the center, there is a flower with smaller flowers on each side. The piece is housed in a lemon gilt shadow box frame, and measures about 6 5/8" x 5 1/2" x 1 1/2", with sight measurements of 4 1/8" x 3". The piece itself is about 3 1/4" x 1 3/4". The piece is in nice antique condition, with age related wear on the frame, but no significant issues.
