For sale is a charming antique 19th century folk art painted wood plate that depicts a farm scene with log buildings, a well, stone wall, and a Black man and woman in the center. The year "1776" is painted at the bottom, and according to the information I received, it may have been painted for the Centennial, but I don't know for sure if that is correct. The piece measures about 7 1/2" in diameter, and is in nice antique condition, with signs of age, but no significant flaws.
