For sale is a terrific antique dated 1827 Scandinavian primitive folk art carved mallet, or at least that's what I think it is, lol. It is curved on one side with scribed religious designs, as well as the date of 1827, and the initials "RIA". There are scallops on one end, and sort of notch carvings around the perimeter. The other side is flat. The tool measures about 15" long, 5 1/4" wide, and 1 1/2" thick, and is in antique condition, with significant signs of age and use including tight cracks and wormholes.
