For sale is a charming antique 19th century folk art watercolor that depicts red and white flowers, possibly forget-me-nots and a peony. It is unsigned, and is housed in a black painted frame. The framed piece measures about 8 1/4" x 7" with sight measurements of 6 3/4" x 5 1/2". It is in very nice antique condition, with light toning, but no areas of restoration or other issues. The piece was removed from the frame for examination, and acid free backing was added, so of course, the paper backing and wire hanger are new.
