Could be late 18th century or early 19th century, at the latest. In pristine condition, no cracks, chips, or repairs. Very deep blue coloring and quite heavy, this early platter measures approximately 15” long by 12 1/4” wide. It has a small “x” marking the back, (which has been noted before on other pieces of this kind of Canton ware).
