**Antique Folk Art Velvet Theorem w/Floral Garland

For sale is a charming antique, most likely 19th century, folk art theorem painting on velvet that depicts a garland of flowers wrapped around what sort of looks like a basket, or possibly a stringed instrument of some kind. It is housed in what I believe is the original lemon gilt frame, and measures about 11 3/4" x 10" with sight measurements of 8 3/4" x 7". The painting is in nice antique condition, with overall toning and a few spots, particularly visible at the bottom. In addition, the piece was disassembled, and acid free backing was added before being placed back in the frame with a new paper backing and wire hanger.
