Antique Painting on Silk of Courting Scene

For sale is an antique folk art depiction of a young man courting a maiden by playing a stringed instrument, possibly a mandolin??? I acquired the piece in New Hampshire, and it is rendered on silk. The painting is housed in an appropriate period frame, and measures about 12 1/2" x 9 1/2" with sight measurements of 9 1/2" x 6 1/2". It is in nice antique condition, with toning and foxing, but no shredding, holes, rips, etc. The frame has an aged patina and minor wear. It should be noted that the painting was removed from the frame for inspection, and the last photo shows the back of the piece before the paper backing and wire hanger were replaced. My husband also placed the original framer's label back on as it originally was. Please look carefully at the pictures, and contact me with any questions or for additional photos.
