**Antique Mortar & Pestle in Old Red w/Zinc Lining

For sale is a terrific antique mortar and pestle set that retains an old red painted surface as well as a zinc lining. The mortar has a sort of pedestal bottom, and measures about 7 1/4" tall, 4 7/8" in diameter on the top, and 4 1/2" in diameter on the bottom. The pestle is fairly simple in design, and measures about 10 1/4" long, 1 1/2" in diameter on the top, and 3" in diameter on the bottom. The set is in nice but well used antique condition, with wear on the zinc, as well as stains, dents, chips, and a tight stable crack on the pestle.
