For sale is a wonderful vintage Pennsylvania folk art watercolor fraktur that depicts a pair of roosters. There is a stylized tulip above one rooster, a different stylized flower above the other, and what I believe is a very stylized tree in between them. The piece has good age, but I don't think that it is 19th century. Each rooster has an oversized flower behind it, and there is a bush/tree in the middle. The piece is housed in a nice old frame with a metal loop hanger, and measures about 10" x 6", with sight measurements of 8" x 4". The piece is in nice vintage condition, with overall toning, but no other issues. It should also be noted that the piece was removed from the frame for examination, and acid free backing was added, as well as a new paper backing.
