For sale is a wonderful antique 19th century folk art hooked rug with a nautical theme that came from New England, and was formerly in the Goodnow collection from Darien, Connecticut. It has the central design of a nautical star, using a variety of wool fabric strips on burlap. The rug measures about 52" x 26", and is in nice, but antique condition, with some repairs on the back, and a bit of edge wear, but it displays very well.
