This is an early 19th c. pantty box in original unfinished surface. Constructed of ash and pine wood with early copper hand forged tacks reinforcing the wonderful fingers on the lap joints. Survives in very good original condition with two neat mouse chews and a tiny loss on the bottom of the body in front. New England. Ca. 1820. 10 7/8"W.
