For sale is a wonderful antique kid leather and purple silk sewing roll-up or huswif that I believe is Shaker, and that has been in my collection for several years. It has an area for sewing scissor, which are still there, as well as a pocket for thread, implements, etc., and in fact there is still a packet of needles inside. It has a brown silk ribbon at the top for tying it up, and is also bound in the same ribbon. The roll-up measures about 12 1/4" long and 4 1/2" wide, and is in nice antique condition, with signs of age and use, but no really significant issues.
