For sale is a fabulous antique dough bowl that came from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Information indicated that it dates anywhere from 1820-1840, and is made of cherry wood that has been painted in an amber color using buttermilk based paint. The bowl measures about 13" in diameter and 3" deep, and is in nice antique condition, being slightly out of round, and having a wonderful aged patina, as well as a 2 5/8" stable crack on one side. Please look carefully at the pictures, and contact me with any questions or for additional photos.
