This is a really good oil on pressboard painting featuring a grouping of three pheasants meandering in tall grass. Remains in vibrant original condition with excellent surfsce craquelure from age. Mounted in its original Eastlake period frame in original mustard colored paint. Signed on the lower right "Bert Lawson". No restoration or repair, inspected under UV light. Ca. 1910. 18 1/2"T x 23"W in frame.
