For sale is a very unique antique folk art box that is made of wallpaper covered cardboard and glass that has been reverse painted in a floral design. I've never seen anything like it before, and there is a ribbon that holds the glass lid in place. In addition, there is a hand colored print of a couple with the French words "Les Plaisirs d'Hiver" which translates "The pleasures of winter". The box measures about 4 3/4" long, 3 3/8" wide, and 1 3/4" tall, and is in nice antique condition, with signs of age and use, including some missing areas of paper "framing" around the painted glass.
