For sale is one of 2 authentic antique strawberry make-do pin cushions that came from Ohio. This one is made of 2 red fabrics, the outer one a solid color, possibly wool gabardine, and the other a red and black calico print cotton. The leaves are embroidered in green yarn, and it is filled with emery sand, I believe. The base is a glass candlestick, and the piece measures about 7 1/2" tall and 4 1/4" in diameter on the base. It is in nice, but antique condition, with wear on the embroidery, a few pinholes, and minor surface dirt.
