For sale is a charming antique 19th century Irish needlepoint that depicts a young child resting his feet on a black dog an holding a bird high in his right hand. The piece is done in wool yarn and is housed in a very nice old birdseye maple with a gold inner liner. In addition, there is a label on the back that says "T. Cranfield, No. 23 Westmorland-Street, Dublin" along with other information. The framed piece measures about 22 1/2" x 20" with sight measurements of 15" x 12 1/2". It is in nice antique condition, with no issues on the needlepoint and minor expected wear on the frame.
