**Antique PA. Dutch Style Painted Firkin

For sale is a wonderful antique firkin that I acquired. It is painted in a sort of PA. style decoration with hearts, and stars in yellow, green, and red, over a creamy white. The paint is old, but I don't know if it is as old as the firkin itself. The insides of the bucket and lid are painted, but the bottom isn't. It measures about 9 1/2" in diameter on top, 10 1/4" in diameter on the bottom, and 9 3/4" tall not including the handle which adds an additional 4" or so when fully upright. The firkin is in nice antique condition, with lots of craquelure, age related wear, etc., but no really significant issues.
