Small size only measuring 12 inches by 7 inches wide and nice early original hinges and dovetailed case. Top has bread board ends and bottom has square early nails. Missing interior lock but just a sweet dry original brownish red surface. Dating 170-1810 period. Bible or document box which had a lock.
