For sale is an unusual small size antique primitive pierced tin lantern that I acquired in Nashville. I have never seen a piece quite like it before. On the door, there is a piece of concave glass, and there is also a much smaller piece of concave glass on the back. The lantern has a chimney for releasing the smoke, and it has been painted a salmon color. It measures about 9 1/2" tall including the hanger on the top, and 4" in diameter on the bottom, and is in nice antique condition, with signs of age and use, and it should be noted that although the paint is old, I don't believe that it is original, and was probably added long ago to cover rust.
