For sale is a terrific antique buttocks basket in old, possibly original red paint that I acquired from a wonderful antique store run by the late Shane Hawkins in Cambridge City, Indiana. Shane was quite a well known dealer and collector, and had many wonderful primitives and folk art in his shop that I believe was called Log House Antiques. I also believe that it closed for a while after his death, but has since reopened, although I haven't been there. The basket measures about 13 1/2" in diameter on the top and 12 1/2" tall including the handle, and is in nice antique condition with minor paint wear, surface dirt, and a few small areas of minor damage, but no other significant issues.
