For sale is an antique 19th century Pennsylvania folk art box form butter print that I acquired in Atlanta, but that had formerly belonged to a PA. collector. The design is deeply carved in a rather abstract design in diamonds, triangles, and 4-point stars. The box is mortised and held together with what looks like hand cut nails. The piece measures about 9" long, 4 1/4" wide, and 2 3/4" tall, with the actual print measuring about 5" long, 3 1/8" wide, and 15/16" thick. It is in nice antique condition, with a warm aged patina, but no significant issues. Please look carefully at the pictures, and contact me with any questions or for additional photos.
