**Framed Antique 1849 Daffodils Watercolor

For sale is a charming antique framed watercolor of daffodils and other delicate red flowers that I acquired in Nashville from a Pennsylvania dealer. When it was removed for examination, I found writing that said "Painted by Harriet M. Royce, Albion, 1849". There is an Albion, PA, and also an Albion, Maine, so it could have been painted in either of those places. It is mounted on acid free backing that has been painted brown on the front, and housed in a wonderful old painted frame with its original metal hanger. The framed painting measures about 9" x 7" with sight measurements of 6" x 4", The image itself is about 4 1/2" x 3". The watercolor is in nice antique condition, with very light toning, and a tiny barely detectable spot or 2, and the frame has minor age related wear, but displays very well.
