Sold by Albion Valley Folk Art and Antiques

For sale is a very sweet antique 19th century folk art theorem painting that depicts a pair of bluebirds inside of a floral wreath with the title "The Wreath" at the bottom. I acquired it in Nashville, but the dealer was from Pennsylvania, so I think that it may have been made there as well, although I can't completely verify that. The painting is housed in a great antique frame, possibly original, with a metal ring hanger at the top. The framed piece measures about 15 1/2" x 13" with sight measurements of 12 1/2" x 10". The little birds are each about 1 1/2" long. The painting is in nice antique condition with overall toning, and one area of minor restoration that is shown in the 5th picture. In addition, the piece was removed from the frame for examination and acid free backing was added before replacing the paper backing. In addition, I believe the glass is relatively new. Please look carefully at the pictures, and contact me with any questions or for additional photos.
